Lash Appointment Preparation

Congratulations on scheduling your lash extension appointment. We hope you will have a very positive Stylin experience with our services. To get the best result, below are some tips that will help prepare for your appointment.

• Please arrive with your face freshly washed and without mascara, eyeliner and other eye makeup:
  Any oils or eye makeup left on the lashes will prevent the adhesive from working properly and result in premature lash loss.
  
  

• If you wear mascara regularly, please discontinue for at least 48 hours:
  The chemicals from mascara can still remain on your lashes even after washing and can potentially interfere with the bonding property of the lash extension adhesive.
  
  

• Take a shower before your appointment:
  After your lash extensions, you must avoid getting your lashes wet for at least 24 hours. Any moisture that comes in contact with the adhesive on your lashes during this curing period will cause the extensions to fall out prematurely.
  
  

• If you wear contact lenses, please remove them and wear your eye glasses to your appointment:
  Since your eyes will need to remain closed for the duration of the procedures (approx 1.5 – 2.5 hrs), wearing contact lenses during this time is a safety hazard and may be uncomfortable.
  
  

• Avoid Caffeine and Stimulants if Possible:
  Both caffeine and stimulants may make you feel agitated and excited which may prevent you from becoming relaxed while lying still during your appointment.
  
  

• Wear comfortable clothing:
  For your comfort, please wear loose clothes that allow you to lie down comfortably in a relaxed, non-restricted manner for 1.5 – 2.5 hours. And to prevent any un-necessary discomfort, large dangling earrings if any, should be removed.
  
  

• Please don’t curl your lashes the day before your appointment:
  Your eyelashes need to be as straight as possible for the extension application to work best.
